Hospitality is one of the studio's standards, and it applies online. The Site is built to WCAG 2.1 AA.
Elegant Reverence is committed to a website that every guest can use. Hospitality is one of the studio's five standards, and it applies online as it does in the room.
Our standard
The Site is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice this means the Site is built with:
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, landmarks and a skip-to-content link.
- Full keyboard operability, visible focus indicators and no keyboard traps.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative imagery hidden from assistive technology.
- Form fields with visible labels, clear error messages announced to screen readers, and no reliance on color alone.
- Color contrast that meets or exceeds AA ratios, and text that can be resized to 200% without loss of content.
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences: the brand film and animations pause or are disabled when your device requests reduced motion, and the film may be paused at any time.
- A responsive layout that works on phones, tablets and desktops without horizontal scrolling.
Known limitations
Third-party tools embedded on the Site — such as a scheduling calendar — are controlled by their providers, and their accessibility may differ from ours. If an embedded tool is difficult to use, email us and we will schedule your consultation directly.
