Terms of Use
The terms that govern use of elegantreverence.com. Services themselves are governed by a separate written services agreement.
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of elegantreverence.com (the “Site”), operated by Elegant Reverence LLC, a Virginia limited liability company (“Elegant Reverence,” “we,” “us”). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. The Site is informational
The Site describes the studio's services and lets you request a consultation. Nothing on the Site is an offer that can be accepted to form a contract, a quotation or a guarantee of availability. Services are provided only under a separate written services agreement signed by you and Elegant Reverence, which will govern the engagement, fees, payment schedule, retainer, cancellation and all other terms. If these Terms conflict with a signed services agreement, the services agreement controls.
2. Inquiries and consultations
Submitting an inquiry or booking a consultation does not reserve an event date and does not obligate either of us. Dates are reserved only when a services agreement is signed and the retainer described in it is received. The studio may decline any inquiry at its discretion.
3. Intellectual property
The Site and its content — including text, the Elegant Reverence name and wordmark, the “Honor the moment. Architect the memory.” tagline, the Reverence Framework, service names, design concepts, photographs, renderings, film and graphics — are owned by Elegant Reverence or used with permission and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission.
Concept imagery and the brand film on the Site are studio renderings created to communicate the studio's aesthetic. They are labeled as concept imagery and do not depict client events.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site in any way that is unlawful, that interferes with its operation or security, that submits false or misleading inquiries, that scrapes or harvests content or personal information, or that infringes the rights of others.
5. Third-party services
The Site may embed or link to third-party tools (for example, a scheduling calendar or video-meeting service). Your use of those tools is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Disclaimers
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elegant Reverence disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. Information on the Site may change without notice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elegant Reverence and its members, managers and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Elegant Reverence from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Fairfax County, Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction. This clause concerns the Site only; disputes under a services agreement are governed by that agreement.
10. Changes
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting an updated version with a new effective date. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
